The Cork Troubadour displayed an extra dynamic in recent times in organising the popular 'The Sessions', a songwriter night at The Phoenix that showcased some of the city's rising musical talent. Leahy's music itself is a highly competent blend of thoughtful lyrics and a quick surf of his myspace site is rewarded by the tones of 'Our Special', a track that featured on last years Catalytic Session, a diverse compilation of Irish sounds and songwriters. He plays De Barra's of Clonakilty on Wednesday, September 6th.
